Silver Mountain - Over 8 million euro investments in infrastructure

For the development of the most important mountain residential project in Romania, Silver Mountain, the developing company, INR Management Real Estate, has planned an investment of more than 8 million Euros for the infrastructure and technical facilities in the area, according to Colliers International, the exclusive selling agent of the project.

The compound is being developed in Poiana Brasov, 1.8 km away from the sky slopes and 12 km away from Brasov and it will contain an exclusivist residential area and the only 18 holes golf course in the country, development stretched on a 70 hectares plot of land.

Planning the project lasted many years, especially due to the fact that the infrastructure in the area was totally missing, any kind of technical facility being inexistent. All of these had to be built by the developer.

INR Management Real Estate took actions to create the water system made of a 1000 mc reservoir and an adduction 3 km long built by the company in Poiana Brasov. The sewer system will be connected to the water pipes built by the city of Brasov near by, project financed by infrastructural funds. The electricity system is facilitated through a connecting point, underground electricity lines of medium intensity and four transformation stations, the cables length surpassing 4 km. The gas system will be build by DistriGaz on a length of around 3 km, each building being connected to the network. The rain water will be conducted through a separate system, partially underground, partially in sewage channels. The telecommunications will be provided by all the operators in the local market. The internal street network will measure around 3.5 km of length and in under construction.

In the residential areas elements of landscaping and recreation will be build in accordance to the architectonic concept.

The construction works are advancing at a fast pace, the first buildings being already erected. In the first phase of development, that is to be delivered in December, this year, one building is 95 % closed, and for the second one the roof is being finalized. The whole project will be developed in a period of 5 to 6 years.
